The Gallery Experience

Virtual Television still photography

Since I live in Tampa, Florida, I suppose I should open the gallery experience with shots of Tampa, Florida. However, being the undisciplined bohemian iconoclast that I am, I now direct your attention to my fave city, certainly more interesting and photogenic than home. 'Tis a silly place.

New York is where I'd rather stay--I get allergic smelling hay. I just adore a penthouse view--darlin' I love ya but gimme Park Avenue.

All the city's inherent lightning bolts point to something, in this case a phone number. I called it, but they were all business and no fun.
Start spreading the fertilizer--if I can make it here, I can make it in most other large urban markets. It's the city that never shuts up.

It was heart breaking to find former Mayor Ed Koch feeding pigeons; what were once rats with wings are now his constituency.

A lone woman consults the marquee at 30 Rock to see what's on TV while a Robert DeNiro fan shouts jeers from his passing cab.

When in the city, it's important to maintain one's perspective, as well as pay attention to shutter speed and depth of field.

New York's finest cast a wary eye toward the blurry man in motion. What was his hurry? They might have investigated further, but they were on break.

Meanwhile, in Battery Park, the Staten Island Ferry was doing a brisk business as these buildings can certainly bear witness.
